T-Mobile USA has let go with an interesting statistic. The network has over a million iPhones on its network even though it doesn't offer the device. Apparently, the users cut down T-Mobile SIMs to work but don’t get 3G or 4G data speeds.

iCloud hasn't launched yet but there are apparently already frustrations surrounding the service. iCloud issues are said to center on users that have more than one user ID the new restrictions won't allow the accounts to be combined.

Griffin and Dijit have teamed up to offer a new hardware and app solution for the iPhone and other iOS gear for making it a universal remote called Beacon. The hardware is an AA battery powered tabletop device and the app allows for activities and more for full control of TVs and DVRs.

Apple has started to sell the iPhone 4 in the US as an unlocked device. The phone is very far from cheap though at $649 and it will only run with supported GSM carriers.

A pair of iPhone smartphones are set to go into space on the final space shuttle mission running an app called SpaceLabs for iOS. The crew of the shuttle will use the iPhones and the app for experiments while in orbit.
