Apple has started to sell the iPhone 4 in the US as an unlocked device. The phone is very far from cheap though at $649 and it will only run with supported GSM carriers.

A report has surfaced that looks at all the items on iTunes and then puts it with some other figures available to come up with an estimated cost to run iTunes each year. According to the report, it costs as much as $1.3 billion a year to run iTunes.
Apple has settled the ongoing patent suit with Nokia. The settlement has Apple paying an undisclosed sum in licensing fees.
