Bang & Olufsen has announced a new speaker dock that will work with the iPhone and all other dockable Apple devices. The dock is called the BeoSound 8 and promises good sound at a high price of £895.

Yanko Design is showing off an interesting phone kickstand for the iPhone called the Mobile Tail. The thing looks like a puppy tail and can prop the iPhone up for video or FaceTime calls.

Apple has announced that the App Store has now hit the 300,000 active apps milestone. The average number of new apps released each month since April is 12,218 on the iPhone and 5,452 on the iPad.

Yesterday was the day that many iPhone users have been waiting to come for years. A browser supporting Flash video launched on the App Store and was VERY popular. So popular that the demand caused service to degrade at Skyfire HQ and the app was pulled from sale to ensure a good user experience while upgrades were made to servers.

We have seen some tables before that were made to look like an iPhone but those were mostly just for show. A couple geeks have designed a table that has an iPhone input that actually puts the working iPhone interface on the table in 58" size with multitouch.

Apple has plans for NFC on future iPhone and while contactless payments are easy enough guess, a source at Cult of Mac claims there is more to it than payments only. According to the source Apple will also offer NFC with Mac computers.
