Sony has announced a new set of headphones called the X Headphones to be advertised heavily on the X Factor TV show. The headphones ship with a carrying case, use 50 mm drivers, and ship with two cables including one with a three button iPhone remote.

Researchers are working with a modded iPhone and a nanoparticle tattoo under the skin that may prove useful for medical monitoring. The nanoparticles fluoresce when exposed to certain molecules like sodium, glucose, and oxygen to give a useful reading that can be tracked.
