Apple doubles app download limit, iBoob app causes UK row, Line2 app gets approved

This is some very good news; Apple has doubled the download limit for app size over 3G. Previously the limit was 10MB and now the limit is 20MB. No more waiting until you get home to grab that new game! continued »

AT&T officially welcomes VoIP to 3G network

I mentioned yesterday that there were rumors flying that AT&T could be ready to allow VoIP over its 3G network with apps like Google Voice and Skype. Previously VoIP apps on the iPhone were only working over Wi-Fi connections. AT&T officially informed Apple and the FCC yesterday that it would allow 3G VoIP service. continued »

Truphone says don’t upgrade to OS 3.1

iPhone Skype confirmed: WiFi VoIP from Tuesday

After last week's rumors, Skype's iPhone client has been confirmed.  The VoIP software, which will be released on Tuesday March 31st, will be a free download and allow users to make free Skype-to-Skype calls over WiFi networks.  Alternatively, calls to landlines will cost 2.1 cents per minute.
