Why is there no 3G on the iPhone?

We have a video of Steve answering this very question. Clearly I wasn’t the only one that was curious. He doesn’t just give a simple answer why and then try and move on either, the video is actually worth a watch. O2 is officially the carrier for iPhone in UK

Apple picked O2 as its UK carrier partner for the iPhone. During the Apple UK event today, Apple announced pricing of the iPhone, and it is 269 pounds. iPod Touch!

It has the full touchscreen controls. Took the interface from the iPhone and put it in an iPod. It has the same multitouch interface as the iPhone too. There are even apps including calendar, clock, contacts, calc, settings, and more. continued »

New iPod “Classic”

The new iPod has been renamed to the iPod Classic. It is thinner, and has a fully metal body. The capacity goes up to 160GB which will hold 40,000 songs. This model will start at 80GB but is thinner than the 5th gen 30Gb. They are $249 and $349 respectively. The 80GB wil do 25 hours of music and 5 of video. ... continued »
