‘Listen’ Song Reconition App

The application Listen, developed by Erica Sadun is nothing new amongst cell phone users of other brands and service providers, but for iPhone users on AT&T, it's a brand new sight. First iPhone Trojan identified

The iPhone truly has come of age, with the first identified "in the wild" trojan for the cellphone being flagged up by security specialists Symantec and F-Secure. ShowTime app adds rudimentary video capture to iPhone

Bizarrely missing from the iPhone's collection of talents is video recording, something most cellphone users take for granted. PSX Emulator Goes Public

First we had NES, then we had GBA, now we have PS1 emulation on the iPhone and iPod touch. Opening up the iPhone to PS1 really shows the iPhone's gaming capabilities. Unlocking Attempt Fails

Over at the Hackint0sh forums, a couple of people decided to unlock their iPhone, little did they know, opening their phone after completing the software, was not such a great idea. At least they now have a door stop, brick, frisbee, and tons of other useful tasks.

iPhone GPS Dongle

Navizon had a great idea providing jailbroken iPhones with an ability to emulate GPS through tower triangulation, but it only gave somewhat accurate information. Partfoundry has developed a working prototype dongle for the jailbroken iPhone that provides real time GPS locationing with an accuracy of 16ft-32ft using the SiRF Star III chip. iPhone Video Capture Succeeded.

Everyday something new comes out for the iPhone. Maybe it's an app you could care less about, but recently a few iPhone hackers provided a proof of a working iPhone video capture application everybody has been waiting for. While still in beta and very buggy, the application can capture up to 15fps at only a short 5 seconds.

Flash on iPhone: Ask Apple

After an Adobe Support Engineer was asked when the iPhone and iPod touch would support flash on Mobile Safari, a response concluded that the wrong company was being asked. It doesn't look like an update with Flash is near, but possibly a member of any of the iPhone dev teams can hack it up.

AnySim Devs Release Source Code

AnySim has always claimed to be open source from the start, but the devs had never released an official source code. After endless waiting, not only can the devs work on it, but hackers and programmers from all around the world can also work on it, greatly improving it's code and compatibility with the iPhone.
