New research by a company called Zokem has shown that the most satisfying smartphone is the iPhone. The study also found that Android users are more likely to stick with the platform when buying a new phone though.

A new Apple patent application has surfaced that shows a new sensor that may come to future iPhones that can sense when people hover over the device. The sensor would apparently be on the back and what exactly it would be used for is unknown, perhaps hover navigation using a finger?

Apple reported its quarterly earnings reports yesterday and racked up a record revenue of $20.34 billion and a quarterly profit of $4.31 billion. The company sold 14.1 million iPhones during the quarter.
