XPERIA X1 vs iPhone: spend now or save?

Posted on 14 March 2008 by

Vincent was lucky enough to score some hands-on time with the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 in Barcelona this morning, and of course being our resident iPhone addict had his trusty Apple cellphone to slap down and snap some comparison shots. But how does the X1 really compare against the iPhone; it's the comparison many will be making over the ... continued »

iPhone is “simply sensational” – walking away with an iF design award

Posted on 14 March 2008 by

I agree the iPhone is simply sensational, while the Apple Bluetooth headset is a great example of minimal and functional design. However, if you've ever used the headset for even a few minutes in a loud or slightly windy environment, it's simply unusable. A Bluetooth headset without noise cancellation or wind guard is useless, no matter how pretty ... continued »

The level of productivity in the work force will probably drop to a record low once all the new apps become available on the iPhone. I anticipate high power execs, low-life lawyers and yes, your very own – Vincent will be sneaking away, finding excuses to play Namco’s new Pac man, Galaga or even PopCap’s Peggle, Zuma or Bejeweled. I ... continued »

Naja King by ThoughOut Review

Posted on 14 March 2008 by

This isn’t the first ThoughtOut iPod/iPhone holder I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing, but the PED3, the last model I reviewed, definitely gave me far fewer problems. The idea behind this stand is great, but something about the “coil” causes the implementation to have some pretty serious problems, as a regular stand, but it more than makes up for it ... continued »
