Following the iPhone 3GS day of June 19, Apple servers are struggling to cope with the demand for activation of the newly released iPhone. The issue recalls similar problems Apple had with the release of the iPhone 3G last year.

iPhone 3GS will be in 3 Stores in July, according to MacTalk forum members. How lucky the Australians! They have 5 players (Vodafone, Optus, Telstra, Virgin, Three) now for the iPhone.

Apple have released iPhone OS 3.0, so you can enjoy cut & paste capability, better search or landscape-mode QWERTY (to name a few) just now. The free upgrade can be done through your iTunes directly. Just hook up your iPhone or iPod touch to iTunes and hit the update button to get 230MB updates file.

Reported due in stores on Friday, some users are revealing that shipments of the iPhone 3GS have started. As we know, both Apple and AT&T have promised placing online pre-orders would be effective on the same day the new iPhone goes on sale in their retail locations.

Despite Apple have refused to reveal how much RAM and what exact processor of the upcoming iPhone 3G S at WWDC 2009 event, but T-Mobile Netherlands has accidentally put up the details on its website, stating a 600MHz processor with 256MB RAM! [The original iPhone and iPhone 3G both used a 412MHz processor, paired with 128MB of RAM].

MacDailyNews discovered that Apple has introduced something new on the iPhone 3GS's screen specs: an oleophobic coating on the screen. Oleophobic, according to Merriam-Webster, means "having or relating to a lack of strong affinity for oils."
