When I came across this I could not help but be excited. How often are you browsing on your iPhone and you see an image you would really like to save for later? For most, that happens often. Apple has realized the desire for this feature, and in the latest release of the 1.2.0 firmware, this ability was discovered.

Playback of embedded videos in mobile Safari has been a long-demanded feature, and while Apple's moves toward that as spotted in the latest firmware beta might be little more than a gesture - not full Flash compatibility, just avoiding having to leave Safari and view media in the standalone YouTube app - it's a start at least. iPhone Atlas have shown ...

I was under the impression that Apple said they wouldn’t allow code parser such as Sun’s JVM on the iPhone.
Sun came to the conclusion it could make a JVM work on the iPhone after taking 24 hours to look at information on Apple's SDK. Sun saw nothing in the public statements preventing the JVM from being one of the applications ...

As developers eagerly download the iPhone SDK, is the gloss beginning to rub off? Folks around web are commenting on last Thursday's announcement of the iPhone SDK. Here's what they're saying...
iPhone SDK: Was it worth the wait?
"Worth the wait? Well, there’s a little longer to go yet - Software Update 2.0, which includes all this goodness, isn’t released until June. But on first impressions, and until we hear from actual developers as to ...

interest in iPhone SDK announcements is fast reaching saturation point (meaning we can all move on to theorising about whether the 3G iPhone will be announced at the WWDC, predicted to be in June) so as to underline the whole event Apple have put up a video of the full presentation. Nobody was permitted to film during yesterday's ...

It's almost amusing how things work out sometimes. People have been trying to get Apple to work with developers to put games on their systems, and to date there is still a huge shortage of available games. However, hope is on the horizon for people wanting to play games on an Apple product, the ironic thing is that the platform ...
