When iFixit tore down the iPhone 4, they noticed that one of the chips on the board near the processor couldn't be identified. That chip was for the noise cancellation tech and it has been fingered as a chip from Audience.

Apple filed a suit this week against Samsung for stealing the look and feel among other things from the iPhone for some of its Galaxy smartphones. Samsung has vowed to counter sue alleging that Apple is suspected of infringing on Samsung wireless technology patents.

Kodak has announced that it has filed two suits against Apple. One of the suits is alleged patent infringement on tech used for digital image previews and the second is for computer related tech. RIM is also in the digital imaging suit.

Most iPhone users have had their share of ire and angst with AT&T over poor service at one time or another. The NYT is now blaming the iPhone for the woes on the AT&T network. The story is even more suspect when you find that the main source of the info is a paid AT&T consultant.

I have lamented the fact that AT&T lacks MMS support for the iPhone here in America on a few occasions. The lack of MMS isn't Apple's fault, it has offered the capability for a while now, and AT&T is simply blocking the feature as it is blocking tethering.
Some iPhone users are tired of waiting for MMS support on their iPhones ...
