Guess who has an iPhone now? Walt Mossberg isn't the only one showing off the highly anticipated phone. Eric Schmidt was kind enough to show off his new toy at the World Economic Forum.

He brings it out just briefly, but doesn't go into any details about it. Apparently if you want one early, you might consider a position on the Apple board. Otherwise you'll need to wait your turn just like the rest of the (non-Walt Mossberg) world.

You'll need to fast-forward until around the 24:30 mark to see the iPhone bit. It is sort of amusing watching this video, the lady looks like she keeps holding out her hand, as if she might be able to hold it for a moment. Sadly, she is denied. Another amusing point, is if you watch the entire video you'll note that Schmidt is talking about how to save money, then he busts out his $500 phone.

Saving money is one thing, and busting out the iPhone is another - I doubt the cost of the iPhone came out of Eric or Google’s pocket book.
