If you plan on traveling abroad, AT&T will be rolling out two new international data plans. However, these data plans will be a bit pricey.

iPhone users that want to travel abroad previously faced serious expense when trying to use the Internet in other countries. However, these new data plans should help keep costs down, at least to some degree.
One plan runs $120 a month for 100MB of international data. The other plan is $200 a month for 200MB. These amounts are piled on top of your existing data plan and voice plan. These new plans apply only to 67 countries, however, so make sure your destinations are on the list. You don’t have to commit to these pricey plans for the long-term, however. You can add it or remove it at any time you’d like.

My name is Thomas Alexander Kearney and I work for a law firm that is filing a class action law suit against AT&T on behalf of iPhone users. If anyone has left the country with their iPhone after purchasing an international data plan, you might be a victim of fraud-especially if you kept the plan after your return to the states. If you would like to participate in a class action law suit against AT&T, please contact me at [email protected], or call the law firm, Ringler Kearney Alvarez LLP at (213) 473-1900, and ask for Thomas Alexander Kearney. If you have trouble reaching me through the firm, you can call my private number at (818)259-9946. You have legal rights. Thank you.

Why would anybody pay that? I would just pop out my AT&T SIM, put in the T-Mobile UK SIM I got for free with a purchase of £10 worth of credit. Internet/Data was free for the first 7 days on my prepaid plan and £1 per day for unlimited data thereafter. Also, 50 minutes to the States cost £2.50. All in all, I spent about £40, or $80 at the time in just under a month for unlimited internet, mobile to mobile calling, and super-cheap minutes to the States. Hmm…
