iPhone look-a-like virtual keyboard for the Nokia N800

Again, imitation is the best form of flattery. There’s a cleverly written utility for the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet that mimics the on-screen virtual keyboard of the Apple iPhone. It’s written in Python, in case you care; looks really neat.

The iPhone-clone keyboard looks and feel similar the real deal but lacks the predictive text algorithm. Just because it looks and quack like a duck doesn’t mean it’s a duck.

    Quack … Quack …

That duck really has me quacking up — great job of incubating it –

Why apple didn’t include the possibility to use the iPhone keyboard in horizontal mode is the real mystery — were the programmernauts drinking heavily before takeoff? ::: ducking :::
