Bejeweled is possibly one of the most popular “match three” style games on mobile devices. Earlier today, PopCap Games announced that a custom version of Bejeweled is now available for the iPhone. This version of Bejeweled has been optimized for the iPhone’s display and touch input controls.

The game is simple and easy to play. All you need to do is position three or more gems of the same type to make them disappear.

The game loads really slow on EDGE (and so does most things). But on a WiFi network, you won’t even know it’s a web-base game.
