In the world of jailbreaking Apple products Geohot is the man. Geohot has a jailbreak ready to go for the iPhone 4, but apparently won’t release the software because the release would just lead to users demanding the next step in the unlock cycle.
Reuters reports that if AT&T loses iPhone exclusivity early next year it won’t necessarily spell doom for the carrier. Reuters figures most people would not switch and the resulting decline in new users changing from carriers could be offset by less need for new infrastructure to support data demand.
The demand for the official iPhone in China and not been that great, mostly because the official handset lacks WiFi and is more expensive than gray market alternatives. The official iPhone with WiFi has reportedly cleared a hurdle to be offered in China with the device reportedly being granted a network access license in China last week.

It is all about money. I do not think he will do it for free this time. He will ask for a deal with Cydia or other outfits that make money with the jailbreak.
yea he was crying over people asking when the release was going to be. if he didn’t want people to ask about his software. he shouldn’t be jailbreak scene in the first place. there are other script kiddies out there more than willing to put out software and keep their fans up to date on progress. oh, and LOL if he’s actually wanting to make money off of the jailbreak. I don’t blame Geohot. He creates something everyone wants and gives it away for free. Then when he doesn’t put it out on “other peoples schedule” they start whining and cussing. Maybe it’s Danny and James that are acting like children and throwing a fit when they can’t get what they want. Spoiled little f*cking babies one and all.

I think if he doesn’t wont people asking about release he shouldn’t have told anyone. Just released it when he is ready and save a lot “unwanted” attention.
Im shocked that people insult geohot so much after he did everything for the Jb community. He was deemed a hero on countless occasions and when he quits ppl rage. So what if he wants to quit. Hes not obligated to help anyone else. He can just jb for himself. The public are the “whining babies”. Not geohot. People are sooo stupid.
