iPhone 2.0 revealed by an icon in the SDK?

The anticipation is quickly mounting as WWDC draws ever closer. Apple's yesterday release of the latest firmware for the iPhone, 2.0 beta 6, revealed something interesting about the new iPhone. The icon was also found in the latest version of Leopard, 10.5.3, which was released to Mac owners yesterday. The icon looks very similar to the current iPhone. continued »

Steve Jobs confirmed for WWDC 2008: still no comment on 3G iPhone

Apple have released its plans for WWDC 2008, due to kick off on Monday June 9th. The event will open with a keynote from Steve Jobs, expected to be resplendant in a new, exciting outfit, before focussing on OS X Leopard and OS X for iPhone. Apple sells 1.7 million iPhones in Q2

What a number! In the second fiscal quarter of this year, Apple was able to push a little over 1.7 million iPhones out the door. This is the overall theme of the Apple earnings report, with Apple announcing a whopping $1.05 billion in profit. Leopard fixes released; firewall Digital Signature issue not addressed
