Apple has been making some moves in the last year. I am not just talking about product sales either. Apple has jumped up to number 103 on the FORTUNE 500 list. The FORTUNE 500 is a list of the 500 top companies according to net revenue. Last year, Apple was 121. This 18 spot jump is a result of almost ...

With all the rumors and myths surrounding the 3G iPhone, it can be hard to sift through it all and find out what matters. This article though, is of a particular importance. It seems though, that an Italian newspaper is reporting that the 3G iPhone is hitting Telecom Italia, and that it is coming very soon. Nothing new there. However, ...

We all love our iPhones, and of course, they go everywhere with us. What about when you leave the comfort of AT&T's network and travel abroad? Can I take my iPhone with me? Will cost me extra? These are very important things to know while planning that trip, and could save you from some massive inconveniences and not to mention ...

We all knew the 3G iPhone would arrive sooner or later, but everything I’ve read have come from analysts – and we all know how reliable those folks are. However, there’s one person in the world that I’d bet the farm on; that guy is Walt Mossberg. Walt (confidently) mentioned in passing in the video below that the ...

That a 3G iPhone is coming is no surprise, but it's unusual to hear someone deeply involved with the handset directly refer to it. At a CTIA Wireless luncheon today, AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega told reporters that he expected 3G compatibility from all of their smart integrated devices in the next couple of months.
When asked by Sascha ...

The 8GB iPhone is available on AT&T’s website for only $249. I’m sure that at this price, they’ll go like hot cakes. Don’t think that AT&T will let you hog a ton of them to yourself – because there’s a limit of one per customer. You can even buy the Apple $69 Apple Care program, which provides ...

Ok, I’m confused. Back when AT&T announced the $99.00 unlimited option, it was my understanding that existing and new iPhone owners have the option to pick the $99.99 unlimited voice in addition, pay $20 for 200 SMS text messaging and unlimited web/email. Then if they want unlimited text, tact an additional $20 to the plan. The grand ...

After both AT&T and Apple reported strong performance in 2007, you'd think it would be a time of celebrations for market-weary analysts. However, discrepancies in the figures each company has presented are leading to head-scratching and an increasing number of questions. Apple has announced total iPhone sales of 3.7 million across the US and their European carrier partners; AT&T revealed ...

As we reported last week, Apple is now offering the iPhone to corporate users. The chief difference appears to be a separation of the voice and data - or, more accurately SMS messaging - elements of the standard consumer plans: the former can be selected from AT&T's usual business range, while the latter are broken down by the number of ...

Enterprise users have long been begging for an iPhone of their own - meanwhile, their IT departments have been flatly refusing, quoting not only the difficulties in securely hooking up a consumer handset to a business network, but also AT&T's general reluctance to offer non-consumer tariffs. Well, according to a tip-off to The Boy Genius Report, AT&T are planning to announce ...

While the iPhone's EDGE capabilities appear to be slow, it's rendering of web pages makes up for difference in speed between EDGE and 3G. Here is a video of the iPhone on EDGE, and a Nokia E61i on 3G. You can clearly see that both of their loading bars end at around the same time, with the iPhone finishing before ...
