One of the things that the iOS 5.0.1 update was supposed to fix was the battery issues some users are seeing. There are a bunch of users on the Apple support forums complaining that the issue is no better and some claim its worse.

A new patent app has surfaced that shows something interesting Apple has planned for the future. The patent outlines a way for the user to zoom in on a specific part of a photo or page in one motion.

Apple was able to close an exploit that left iPhone users vulnerable to Trojans. This is presumably the patch for the issue raised by Charlie Miller that saw him tossed out of the dev program.
