Apple receives go-ahead from FCC on their Bluetooth headset

Remember that thing that Apple announced back at Macworld? No, not the iPhone. I’m not talking about the Apple TV either. Yes, they did actually announce something else. That’s right, the Bluetooth headset.

Apple Bluetooth Headset

Today Apple just received approval from the FCC for the headset. They have also granted Apple some privacy as well. Unfortunately, the FCC has blocked a good deal of information from being released surrounding it.

So now you can top off your iPhone with a nice matching Bluetooth headset. I’m sure we’ll be hearing an official word from Apple regarding this very soon. I’m doubting that they’ll have this thing ready to go for the iPhone launch.

Thanks for the tip Steve! (no, not that Steve)
