Apple owns 99.4% of all app sales in 2009, iPhone 4.0 OS rumored for next week, Jawbone Icon shows battery life on iPhone screen

A new report is out from Gartner that claims Apple captured a whopping 99.4% of all app sales in 2009. That makes sense when you think of the 3 billion downloads form the store so far.

Many are expecting that at the event Apple is holding next week will see the unveiling of the iPhone 4.0 OS. Many are hoping if the new OS debuts it brings background apps to the device. It would be great to be able to answer a phone call without having to start my game over.

The new Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headset has a cool feature. The headset puts an indicator on the top of the iPhone screen that shows how much battery life it has left. The OS on a chip design of the headset lets it offer the battery life meter, which is a great feature.
