Apple offers $1 for Motorola patents, William Shatner launches new app, AT&T waves late fees for hurricane victims





Apple has stated that it thinks one dollar or less per iPhone made is all Motorola’s FRAND patents covering Wi-Fi and cellular technology are worth. Apple says that it will continue litigation if the licensing fee is any more than that amount.

William Shatner has launched a new app for iPhone users called Shatoetry. The app has different words spoken in Shatner’s voice that users can stream together to make poems and other content.

AT&T has announced that it will be waiving late fees for customers who were affected by hurricane Sandy. The hurricane resulted in a large portion of the AT&T network in affected areas being adversely affected. AT&T is also offering in-store charging for customers who lack power.
