Loading ...Just announced, the iPhone will go on sale at exactly 6PM on June 29. That means we won't have to be standing out in the middle of the night waiting for the store to open. That also means that those with a 9-5 job might actually have a chance to get one.
Update: For those wondering if it will really launch at exactly 6PM, we've got two good sources that say it is definitely 6PM. An interview with AT&T spokesman Fletcher Cook with the AP depicts the time as 6PM. Also, a memo from AT&T covered by MacRumors narrows it down to "6 p.m. local time." So it looks like the folks in the eastern time zones will have first grab at the iPhone.
