Apparently there is a German site that has gotten their mitts on an outline of tomorrow’s Keynote speech by Steve Jobs. I have complete faith that this is the real deal since Steve Jobs always forwards his speech notes to a select group of people in Germany for review. The End
Looking at the list we see a bunch of things that we’ve already heard about. Enough that would lead us to believe that this could be real. Then they throw in a few things that we’ve never heard of like iPhone@home. From the description of this product, it seems that it would be cool, but not exactly logical.
Granted, we know that the iPhone runs OSX, it’s not the same version that we see on the desktops and laptops. Why would we want a tablet-like device that doesn’t run a full version of OSX? Also, the name iPhone@home is a poor choice of names. Since it doesn’t even have phone capabilities, why put the word phone in the title?
I do hope that Steve announces an Apple Tablet PC, but I doubt that it will be as described here. I’m not going to dive into all the minor details that make me think that this list is a fake. Why go through all of that trouble when the Keynote is so close? Take a gander at the list and take it for what it’s worth. We’ll be right there covering the whole show, so we’ll let you know how closely the Keynote follows the outline depicted here.
