T-Mobile has 1 million edge iPhones, stolen phone database in the works, Apple could be sued for e-book price-fixing

AT&T recently announced that it would unlock off contract iPhones. This could be a big deal for T-Mobile since it already has 1 million iPhones on its network even though the devices run at slower speeds for data networks.

The FCC and carriers in the United States are banding together to plan a stolen phone database. The database will ensure that if your iPhone the stolen, never takes it can’t activate it and use your phone.

The Department of Justice could file suit against Apple as early as today over price-fixing in the e-book market. Apple and five publishers are currently being investigated for price-fixing.
