Samsung faces fine for attempted Apple ban, Apple drops device from Samsung suit, Microsoft tries to lure in iOS developers





Apple and Samsung have been embroiled in a patent infringement battle around the world. Reports indicate Samsung is now facing a potential $15 billion fine from the European Commission for its attempt to get certain Apple products banned in Europe.

Apple has dropped a Samsung device from its patent suit against the Korean company. Apple removed the Galaxy S III Mini from the suit because it hasn’t been officially released in the US.

Microsoft is reportedly trying to entice developers who are currently working predominantly on the iOS platform to become developers for Windows 8 and RT. Microsoft has reportedly invited a select group of iOS developers to Microsoft HQ to talk about developing Windows apps.
