Native Union has a new desktop dock that will hold your iPhone and your iPad and turns them into a dual line desk phone. The device has a corded handset that you can use to place calls and change between two lines with the press of a button.

Apple has lost an appeal on a $1.2 million fine levied against it in Italy last year. The fine was over selling AppleCare protection plans in Italy without proper notification to customers that they already had two years of coverage per Italian law.

Samsung and Apple have tangled on more than one occasion over Apple’s allegations that Samsung copied its iPhone design. Samsung is now promising that will match Apple’s iconic design, presumably without copying.
