Myst [iTunes link], the legendary graphical adventure game, just hit the App Store for $5.99. Careful though — it is a whopping 727MB download “but promises to bring all of the realism of the 1994 classic Macintosh game,” as 9to5Mac wrote.

According to 1Up.com:

Everything you’ve come to expect from Myst can still be found in this version. According to original developer Cyan (via What They Play), all of the “original Myst sights and sounds” have returned fully intact, with navigation being handled by a series of “simple touch or swipe moves.”

Because of the way the iPhone & iPod touch install apps, Myst requires 1.5GB of free space to install, though it will reduce in size to 727MB or so once it’s on. System requirements call for iPhone 2.2.1 software.
