So yesterday, we got the tip from the guy from UBS, Ben Reitzes, and that was pretty much all about the iPhone, now we have more news. Basically it’s all about finances, but there are some interesting things, first off, the Halo Effect.

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with the video game made by Bungie and released by Microsoft, it’s a psychology term, and according to Mr. Reitzes, is the driving force behind Apples upward sales/popularity swing. Basically what the Halo Effect is, is the idea that a single trait standing out as very positive, will make all the other traits of that person or item seem more positive than they might without the leading positive trait.
Essentially, since the iPhone and iPod sales have been so good, and they have been the start products of Apple’s line since their respective releases, people have also started taking notice of Apple’s other products, such as their computers, AppleTV, etc., etc.. So the amazing hardware, great looks, and surprisingly simple to use OS can’t be the factors of why Apple’s computers have seen and upswing in sales, it has to be the iPod’s fault.
Oh yeah, back to the rest of the report, Apple stocks are supposed to be going up a considerable amount. Other than that, some sort of ultraportable or maybe a PDA is in the works, and might be released around the the same time as the new iPhone thats rumored.
