New rumors are circulating that Apple is set to release a new iPhone this year that will have a new quad core A6 processor. Previous rumors have pointed to the phone getting a larger screen as well.

The New Jersey ACLU has unveiled a new app to record police on the down low. The app will come to the iPhone in a few months and will offer the ability to secretly record audio police confrontations.

Apple has offered an official response to the reports of app crashes going around. It appears that the crashes have something to do with Apple’s FairPlay DRM.
