A new project has landed on Kickstarter with the goal of creating a guitar that allows the user to learn to play using the iPhone. The device is called the gTar and has an iPhone dock on the body and app control LEDs along the fretboard to show learning players where to place their fingers.

Kodak filed suit against Apple and another smartphone maker in January alleging patent infringement relating to patent having to do with image preview. A judge has now ruled that patent invalid, it seems the case is done.

NASA has updated its iPhone app to version 2.0. The app now has a new user interface and has weather reports in the section for viewing spacecraft in orbit.
