Dead Trigger iOS app hits 1M downloads, Phil Schiller takes the stand in iPhone case, Apple fears Samsung will release its sales statistics

The iOS game app Dead Trigger, which went free to play not long ago, has now hit 1 million downloads. Previously, the game sold for about one dollar and downloads significantly increased when it went free to play.

Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller has taken the stand in the Samsung case. Schiller’s goal is to convince the jury that the iPhone’s design is very unique.

Apple is reportedly terrified that Samsung will give up Apple’s sales statistics on the iPhone and the iPad during the court case. Documents listing these important stats were offered up during the case and Apple claims that a leak could cause it severe harm. Apple wants the judge overseeing the case to seal the documents.
