We know who owns the iPhone trademark, that of course is Cisco. Even if Apple likes to claim they own it from time to time. But who actually used the term first? Was the iPhone originally a flip phone? Apparently when Apple filed the patent for the proximity and light sensor for the iPhone they still weren't sure what it was going to look like.

Bad news from the rumormill. Apparently they guys over at Infinite Loop have gotten some inside information from an unnamed source that things aren't going so well with the iPhone.

Could Microsoft still be contemplating the Zune Phone? It really wouldn't surprise me. Though with the apparent failure of the original Zune, I'm not so sure it's a wise idea to pursue it. But a new patent from Microsoft lets us know they haven't stopped thinking about mobile phones yet.
