BBC iPlayer downloads for iOS, hack unveils alleged iPhone ID database, Apple wants judge to speed





If you’re a fan of the BBC iPlayer app on your iPhone it has a neat new feature you may appreciate. It has been updated to allow users to download their favorite programs for viewing on the go.

AntiSec has posted what it claims to be the IDs from roughly 12 million iPhones and iPads that were taken in a database hack from the FBI. The allegation is that the FBI has been storing these numbers for some unknown cause.

Apple has asked Judge Koh to move up a hearing on banning certain Samsung devices from the US. Apple is seeking a ban on a different Samsung devices.
