AT&T preps staff for iPhone 5, Chinese officials close some faux Apple Stores, Apple Assistant tipped

AT&T is reportedly getting its staff ready for the fifth-generation iPhone 5 to launch by mid-September. This fits with the rumors of Apple looking for extra workers in the UK with iPhone enthusiasm for a special fall event.

Officials in China started an investigation into the fake Apple stores in Kunming, China. Two of the stores were closed due to the lack of a business license and the other three remain open.

A new Apple Assistant voice control system has been tipped for the iPhone 5. The system is thought to be powered by tech Apple bought or licensed from Siri and Nuance.
