It’s just after 2PM EST, which means that the Apple stores are now closed on the East Coast. They’ve closed down the stores to rearrange the place for the 6PM launch of the iPhone. Our man Vincent tried to snag some ‘before’ pictures of the inside of the store, but was quickly thwarted by Apple employees after snapping only a few.

While Vincent was walking up to the store shortly before it closed he was actually told by one of the guards that he’s not allowed to ask questions. That has to be one of the weirdest things to tell someone. Maybe the guards are like that guy off of Austin Powers. If you ask them a question 3 times then they have to answer you. Might be worth trying.

Anyway, that leaves us with only a few short hours before the launch. I can only imagine how restless the crowd is getting by now. We’ll have video up shortly.
