One of the things that has been missing from the App Store for a long time is a way to give apps as a gift. That issue has now been fixed with the addition of a new Gift This App option on the app store.
Apple is now offering the iPhone 3G and3GS smartphones without a contract in the US. The catch is the price is the full cost of the device with the 8GB 3G going for $499 and the 3GS for $599 with 16GB of storage.
Opera has now submitted its Mini browser to Apple for possible approval for the iPhone. I can’t imagine Apple actually approving this app.
