Unlimited email on your iPhone

by Chris Scott Barr on March 30, 2007

Yahoo! Mail VP John Kremer announced this week that they will begin offering unlimited mail storage for all of their users. This includes the free accounts as well. But wait, isn't the iPhone going to use Yahoo! Mail for its email handling? Yes it is, and that means you'll be getting unlimited email storage for your iPhone. Granted, it would take the average user a long time to fill up their ... continued »

The iPhone to be released on June 11?

by Chris Scott Barr on March 30, 2007

I don't really buy it. But that's what the guys over at CNet are reporting. I'm sure that the random sales person at the Cingular 800 number is an honest guy, but I doubt that information such as that is going to be given out to the sales staff just yet. Granted, Apple's WWDC does start on the same day, but I think that is more of a coincidence anyway. It ... continued »

Can customers in non-Cingular territory still sign up and get an iPhone?

by Chris Scott Barr on March 30, 2007

I'm sure that some of you read this site looking for a glimmer of hope. Hope that we will cover a story that informs you whether or not you will be able to purchase an iPhone. You're hoping for this because you live somewhere in the US where Cingular has no coverage. This is that article. Our own Vincent Nguyen has been at CTIA all week and was invited to ... continued »

Here's something to lighten up your Wednesday. It's a MadTV sketch surrounding an Apple keynote. In it, Steve Jobs announces a new iProduct named the iRack. Obviously that name sounds nothing like a certain country that we currently have thousands of troops stationed in... Personally I've always been a Saturday Night Live kinda guy, but now and then MadTV will have a few good sketches worth watching. Enjoy! MadTV Sucks at Apple Parodies: ... continued »

iPhone isn’t the only phone with motion-sensing technology

by Chris Scott Barr on March 28, 2007

The iPhone is going to be one of the first phones to have motion-sensing technologies right? It has the accelerometer technology to detect when the phone is being held in portrait or landscape mode, and changes the display to match. It also has a proximity sensor that can detect when a user holds it up to their ear. I'm sure you already knew all of that, but what about the ... continued »

iPhone makes a brief appearance at CTIA

by Chris Scott Barr on March 28, 2007

Those that attended a rather uneventful keynote at this year's CTIA wireless show were given an unexpected glimpse of the iPhone. AT&T Chief Operating Officer Randall Stephenson surprised the crowd by pulling it out briefly during his keynote speech. (AP Photo/John Raoux) The iPhone didn't stay long, it was quickly whisked away by an Apple employee described as “a guy in blue jeans.” Apparently this was the first ... continued »

Free (as in beer) iPhone!

by Chris Scott Barr on March 25, 2007

From the sound of things it is going to be pretty hard to get your hands on an iPhone when it comes out. So here at My iPhone we'll be keeping you up to date on where you can get your hands on one for free. We're not talking about “free when you sign up 10 friends to get ripped-off” we're talking about the “free as in beer” kind. LoopRumors is ... continued »
