Still no iPhone carrier in Europe

Worth Reading?

NoYes

It looks like Apple still hasn't decided who will be carrying the iPhone for the launch in Europe. Several companies are still being considered.

Apple is looking for one provider that will be able to cater to the entire European market. Though previous rumors had cropped up that Orange Telecom would be that provider, sources say that Vodafone is the closest in the race.

We can only assume that one of the large factors in the decision would have to be 3G service. In the European market, 3G has been one of the top requests by potential iPhone buyers.
