After the Mac-only instructions for loading custom ringtones onto an iPhone surfaced on Friday, the people over at ModMyiPhone have been busy piecing together a Windows version. Oh happy day, they've succeeded! As with the Mac instructions (which several MY iTablet readers followed and were successful with), there's a possible risk of bricking your iPhone - however in such cases an iTunes restore has fixed things again.
Basically, the process involves a couple of extra programmes and some fiddling with the iPhone firmware. There are also instructions for replacing the standard system sounds, should they not be to your liking.
