Yeah, this app lets you watch TV on your iPhone. Mobile software developer, Makayama, introduces new TV application, called Television, for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. Will cost you $2.99 in the App Store, this app will allow you to download pre-recorded content from a number of TV networks.
includes 20 English language channels, such as CNN, NBC, CBS, MTV, Comedy Central, VH1 and many more. British TV from the BBC, ITV and SKY. Australian, French and German channels are also included.
This app has some limitations: the television is not “live”, requires Wi-Fi connection and does not work on a 3G network, all channels offered is already available for free on the web.
However, Television keeps you informed when on the go. No need to download the content like podcasts in iTunes first, just watch it instantly. On-demand.

Don’t like, I can’t watch news a day late. Makes no sense to me. Then only on wifi. Live tv I would have brought.
http://3click.tv streams 200+shows (12,000 episodes all complete seasons) direct to iPhone Mac or PC desktop. A good 3g or wifi connection and your set!
Pretty cool… I’m anxious to see how far technology can go with allowing people to watch TV on iPhones.
This is a grea post, thank you. I don’t have cable television, so watch what I can on the web I’ve found some good sites to watch television, but most of them want you to fill out a survey to watch them, do you know of any sites that do not require this?
Kinda cool app I guess. But it’s still not live TV…
