Soundmatters foxLv2 speaker, MasterCard mobile payments, Rhapsody objects to subscription requirements





Soundmatters has unveiled a new Bluetooth speaker called the foxLv2 that was designed with the iPhone 4 in mind. The speaker is battery powered with 8-hours of music per charge and uses Bluetooth for connectivity. It also has a mic for speakerphone use.

MasterCard is working to put its NFC payment tech inside the iCarte accessory for the iPhone. The accessory will allow for contactless mobile payments using the iPhone.

Rhapsody has objected to the new subscription rules that Apple has instigated. Rhapsody says that it might even take legal action against the rules that say subscription providers have to fork over 30% of their revenue.
