Joost announced that more than one million iPhone and iPod Touch users have downloaded the free Joost application from Apple’s App Store.
Over their Wi-Fi connection, iPhone and iPod Touch users can use the global web video service’s app to enjoy thousands of hours of movies, comedy, drama, music, documentaries, sci-fi and sports.
Ssince the Joost iPhone App is ad-supported, similar to the web-based version, this service is free to all the Apple’s mobile device users.

Tried it. Pretty crappy. Works for the movies that are actually playable, but I don’t speak Mandarin Chinese. I’m also not into movies from 1920-1925, their definition of “classic.” For the movies listed in English, they kept popping up as unavailable.
Methinks that Joost has some work to do b4 they’re ready to play with the big boys on iPhone.
We just added you to my Music News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
(PS, we just pushed out BETA 2 of OUR site)
