Another rumor has recently surfaced pointing to the screen size of the iPhone 5 expected to launch soon. According to the latest rumor, the new iPhone will have a skinny 4.08-inch display that will be a high-resolution screen that we have now. The screen is expected to be an in-cell IPS screen with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels.

The screen is also tipped for 500-nit brightness. That would make for a better screen than we’re used to, but high-resolution and plenty bright for daytime reading outdoors. Over the last couple weeks, the iPhone has been tipped to become available on prepaid networks.
The iPhone is headed to Virgin Mobile with no contract required to purchase. The phone is expected to land on Virgin Mobile as soon as July 1. Leap Wireless is also getting the iPhone and the smartphone will turn up on leads network first. The phone is tipped to sell for between $400 and $500 off contract.
