Apple has officially confirmed that the miniSIM card used in the iPhone 4 won’t be swappable with the iPad 3G model. That means no sharing your iPhone 4 data plan with your iPad.
Orange has announced that its iPhone data plan has a 750MB fair use cap. After that amount, you will be paying more for your data.
If you have been waiting to pre-order your iPhone 4 in the US and UK, they are sold out for launch day. The ship date is now slipped to July for those who pre-order.

This does not jive with what Steve Jobs said on the launch of the iPad. He noted that the iPad would work with “…*any* microSIM you might have …”
So how does Apple defend this?
