Facebook on Saturday finally launched the new Facebook Connect for iPhone at the SXSW in Austin, TX. First announced last July, Facebook Connect for iPhone does similar functions like the PC version, allowing Facebook users to login to affiliated sites and share with their Facebook friends.
Here’s what Facebook users can do with their iPhone:
- Seamlessly connect their Facebook account and information with the iPhone app
- Connect and share experiences with friends who also use the same iPhone app
- Share user information and actions on the iPhone app with friends on Facebook
Dave Morin, senior platform manager at Facebook, said:
“For the first time, your iPhone apps can now have friends,” said Morin. “I can pull out my iPhone and play it not only my other friends with iPhones, but I can also play with my mom —-she can join in and play with us on her computer.”

First time? I guess Facebook’s Platform Manager isn’t familiar with Live Poker, which has been utilizing FB Connect for a while now.

Why i cannot connect my FACEBOOK in my LIVE POKER by zynga? It keeps on crushing when i connect it.. :(

I have the same problem as Chacky. I cannot connect to Facebook from Live Poker by zynga. After I log in to facebook, nothing happens, it just goes back to the home screen. Can somebody help us please?
