We're big fans of multi-touch interfaces and touchscreens in general here at MY iTablet, and you might recall some of the Onyx features our sister-site SlashGear ran back when the Synaptics concept was wowing iPhone-naive audiences. There is no doubt in my mind that Apple is leading the biggest change in sensor touch screen technology with the introduction of the iPhone!
You may have read my previous report of the Synaptics Onyx Concept phone, which features many of the forthcoming touch screen technology. The LG Prada phone is the direct result of the Onyx concept phone.
