Apple looks at wireless server hopes for stores, rising doesn’t mention iPhone, Star Wars Kinect app launches





A rumor is floating around that Apple is looking at adding wireless server hubs to its Genius Bars in retail stores. The idea is to allow the backup of files right away before replacing the iOS device rather than trying to use iCloud in stores.

Verizon outlines its financials for Q1 2012 today and had impressive profits and revenue. Surprisingly the company was mum on how well it did with the iPhone, which presumably means that iPhone sales for Verizon weren’t as good as they had been in earlier quarters.

Microsoft is launching a new app to help promote the new Xbox 360 Star Wars Kinect video game. The app will give more information on the video game and allow users to order the game, but the coolest part is that interfaces with Facebook and twitter accounts and scrolls the feed like the opening sequence of Star Wars.
