Have you ever gotten an email on your iPhone and wanted to print it off to your wireless printer? Honestly, I can't remember the last time I wanted to print an email, let alone from my phone, but I certainly wouldn't mind having the ability to print something off from my iPhone, which may be a possibility in the future.
After decrypting the iPhone 2.0 software, a directory has been discovered with the name “Printers.” I can't really think of many good uses for such a directory, aside from storing printer drivers. Also discovered was a list of supported Bluetooth headsets, of which a few are listed below.

Yes! I have a wireless printer at home, and I find myself checking email all the time from my iPhone 3G just because it’s quick to do so. I often print long emails that I either want to read on paper or file.
I would love to print the iPhone calendar in monthly mode, for easier viewing in a meeting or for handing off.
This isn’t supported already? I thought I read something about this already. Printing from your cell would be really useful. I can already picture myself printing out something for work after mapping the phone to the network printer. Awesome! I’ll look into this more. Thanks!
Honestly, I do not understand WHY people think printing from the iPhone is NOT an important feature to be seriously considered. Get with the program people. The iPhone conveniently displays documents in PDF, Excel and Word. When receiving such documents as attachments, via email, wouldn’t it be CONVENIENT to print those documents wirelessly so could read or share them with colleagues. This is called PRODUCTIVITY.
The iPhone’s screen is only so big. Sure you can increase the size of the area you would like to read, which by the way could take ALL day if you have several documents. Why not just print them?

As i look through some of the documentation for the iPhone OS 3.0 I cannot find anything about a Print feature. This is very disappointing to me, yet very typical. I really hope they provide this feature. It is sad to have to print through your PC or MAC when you have an iPhone that should provide this very basic option.
Printing is already possible on the iPhone with the app, Print n Share. I can print from my iPhone to any networked printer laser and inkjet in the office, wirelessly.
Print N Share is one of the better, but not a true solution. A) you have to install a helper app on your networked desktop or laptop, and B) in order to print emails or attached docs, PDFs, etc you have to setup and use the Print n Share email feature.
Weird. Why not use the iPhone mail app? I don’t want to use 2 mail programs, and I don’t want to replace the iPhone mail app with Print N Share.
To make a long story short. I think that a print option/feature for email, attached files, photos and notes send directly to a networked or Bonjour printer would be fantastic, Apple. It’s just another missing feature on the otherwise advanced iPhone (yeah – where’s the front facing camera for video iChat, and a flash for the cam on the back?)
Anyway, just my 2 cents.
